Weki Meki is set to unveil their digital single “CoinciDestiny” at 6 p.m. today (June 12th), marking their first release in nearly three years since their 5th mini-album “I AM ME.” from November 2021. This track reflects the fateful bond between the eight members and their fans, with Ji Su-yeon contributing to the composition and lyrics.
The excitement for this comeback quickly turned to sadness when it was revealed that it would be Weki Meki's last comeback before disbanding. Despite anticipation, fans were saddened as the group had been heading towards disbandment.
Debuting in 2017 and including former I.O.I members Choi Yoo-jung and Kim Do-yeon, Weki Meki established themselves with hits like “I Don’t Like Your Girlfriend,” “La La La,” “OOPSY,” “COOL,” and “Siesta.” "CoinciDestiny" will be available on various music platforms at 6 p.m. on June 12th, offering a poignant farewell from the beloved girl group.
